Building a "Cult" Following: How We Made a Burger Joint the Talk of the Town

1. The Challenge
The restaurant market in Banani is brutal. The client didn’t have a huge budget for billboards. They needed their customers to become their marketers.
2. Our Strategy: “Food Porn” & Interaction
We focused on appetite appeal and two-way conversation.
- Content: We moved away from static graphics to high-resolution “Food Porn” videos (Slow-motion cheese pulls, sizzling patties).
- Gamification: We used Instagram Stories for polls (“Spicy vs. Sweet?”), quizzes, and “This or That” to keep the audience addicted to the page.
- UGC Loop: We created a spot in the restaurant specifically for photos. We promised to repost the best customer photos on our main page. This encouraged everyone to take a photo and tag us.
3. The Results
- Reach: Monthly organic reach hit 150,000+ (without ads).
- Check-ins: Digital check-ins and tags increased by 300%.
- Footfall: On weekends, 40% of customers mentioned they came after seeing a specific “Cheese Pull” video on their feed.
